Mower Failure

Our focus is on being a trusted and reliable go-to partner, on-demand. That means we do not seek out full mowing season contracts with customers. There are plenty of do-it-yourselfers that need a break once in a while, get injured and need a short-term substitute, go on vacation and need a one-time fill-in, or move into a new home and need the prior home maintained until sold. We also help real estate agents maintain homes during that transition period.

Our customers love us not only because we are really good at making lawns look amazing, but because we can be counted on to be there when needed. Allow us to be there for you.

1. Use the calculator on the right to estimate your service time and cost.

2. Click the "Schedule Service" button and book a service duration appropriate to you. This helps us manage our time.

3. Final cost is based on actual service time. If you book a 60 min appointment, but it only takes 30 min, you only pay for 30 min.

4. Returning customers don't need to be home. We'll email an invoice. First-time customers we ask to at least be home at the start of service to collect payment details.

Frequently Asked Questions

(if your question is not addressed here, check the bottom of the home page)

  • Is a deposit required prior to the start of this service?  There are some unfortunate realities to modern society that we need to protect ourselves from, so we do require a pre-authorization on a credit or debit card of your choosing.  This is simply a hold on that account, but no money is actually withdrawn. Upon completion of service, that hold will be removed and you'll pay using your preferred means (cash, venmo, debit, or credit).  The hold amount equals the total cost of the service.  So, for example, if you book a 40-min appointment, the hold amount would be $47 (Tier 1) or $67 (Tier 2).  For appointments where you do not intend to be home during the service, there are instances where we will waive this hold requirement and send a payment request after-the-fact, but you should expect this hold requirement to apply by default.
  • What hours is this service available?  24/7. Snow events don't coordinate with homeowners in advance of their arrival, so we're here to clean up the mess they leave whenever you need the help.
  • How do I know how many square feet there is to clear?  The best way, at least in our minds, is Google Earth.  You can manipulate the map in every possible direction and angle, and measure distance and area incredibly easily and accurately. If you don't want to use Google Earth, Google Maps has a "measure distance" feature that allows you to get square footage of an area. At times you can't get as zoomed in or orient the map preferably, so that's why we prefer Google Earth. If you don't want to or can't use either Google Earth or Maps, then well....a good 'ole tape measure could get you somewhat in the ballpark.  Or, just send us a message.  We'd be happy to measure it for you.
  • Do you spread salt?  We do not. For one, it's often unnecessary if you snow blow properly. This snow blower skims along in contact with the ground (rather than hover above it like many others), so any residual not blown away will typically melt on its own as the sun's rays are able to penetrate to and heat up the surface that you are clearing. Not only that, but salt can be very damaging to certain surfaces and vegetation. So there's increased potential to cause more harm than good. Which means higher liability insurance premiums for us, and thus higher pricing charged to you to compensate. So the greatest value we can add is in providing you a low cost full service snow blowing option. If you provide the salt and would like for us to spread it after snow blowing, we'll be happy to do that for you.
